Detect and eliminate environmental origins of infectious disease This collaborative project with the Department of Chemistry, University of Duisburg Essen aims to improve our understanding of how well existing analysis methods capture pathogens in wastewater and aims to study the use of methods for reducing pathogen and chemical load of wastewater effectively. Funding This is funded by the Foundation for the Future of North Rhine Westfalia (Stiftung Zukunft NRW). We are funded in tandem with our collaboratos at the Department of Chemistry led by Prof. Dr. Torsten Schmidt.
